Huff says...

On a successful build-up to the 2016 FIA World Touring Car Championship...

“Testing with my new Honda Racing team has been going really well. I’ve been testing the WTCC Honda Civic and I have very positive feelings ahead of the new season. The car is wonderfully reactive to setup changes and it fills you with confidence as a driver. I’ve also been getting along very well with my new teammates, Norbert ‘Norby’ Michelisz and Tiago Monteiro and I’m really looking forward to a getting the 2016 season off to a great start in France on 1-3 April.”

On reuniting with his title-winning race engineer…

“I’m delighted to be working with Duncan Laycock, my old race engineer from Chevrolet. We worked together for eight years and he was with me when I won the FIA World Touring Car Championship title in 2012, so it’s nice to be working with him again, in his role as the Head of Technical Development for JAS Motorsport’s Honda WTCC programme.”

On kicking off 2016 with the 74th Goodwood Members’ Meeting…

“The Goodwood Members’ Meeting is always a fantastic way to start the season because it features some fabulous, wonderfully successful drivers and legendary racecars in a very pleasant and relaxed environment. I’m very excited to be returning to Lord March’s incredible venue – he puts on some great entertainment for us, including two dinners, and I’ll be targeting some good results too! I’m within Richard Meins again in his 1967 Ford GT40, 1979 BASTOS Capri and Rapid Fit Ford Mondeo Super Touring from the year 2000, and a 1963 Morris Mini Cooper S with Andrew Higginson, so it should be a lot of fun!”
