Driving opportunities with OCC LASIK Racing in all-new Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsports

OCC LASIK Racing with Newbridge Motorsport is pleased to extend an invitation to suitably experienced and budgeted drivers to join the team for various endurance racing events across the 2016 season.

The team is the product of a doctor's lifelong passion for motorsport and his established relationships with Rob Huff, BAM Motorsport Promotions and Newbridge Motorsport.

OCC LASIK is a leading laser vision correction centre based in Ontario, Canada that specialises in ophthalmic surgery and eye care, which looked to motorsport, where clear vision is imperative to optimise performance and maximise safety, to boost its public profile when it appointed FIA World Touring Car Champion, Huff, as an official brand ambassador in 2013.

The association, forged by BAM Motorsport Promotions, took OCC LASIK to all four corners of the globe, but Director and Eye Surgeon at OCC LASIK, Doctor Fareed Ali, is taking his love of motorsport further in 2016.

His OCC LASIK Racing outfit has entries in the remaining races on the CREVENTIC 24H Series powered by HANKOOK schedule, as well as rounds of the GT Cup and British Dunlop Endurance Championship.

The Newbridge Motorsport-run team took delivery of a new-for-2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsports last Friday (29 April) and its example was the first to take to a UK circuit when it was shaken down by TCR International race winner, Kevin Gleason, at Silverstone.

As you'd expect of Porsche, the highly anticipated Cayman GT4 has been built and developed by the German marque and Manthey Motorsport to the most exacting standards, ensuring it is the perfect vehicle for endurance competition, unlike some of its class competitors, which have questionable levels of durability.

OCC LASIK Racing with Newbridge Motorsport's Porsche Cayman GT4 is now race-ready.

Arrive and drive opportunities at the following events are available on a first come first served basis:

CREVENTIC 24H Series: 24H Paul Ricard (15-17 July) 2 seats available
CREVENTIC 24H Series: 24H Barcelona (2-4 September), 3 seats available

Seat prices for 24-hour endurance events from £15,000 inclusive, subject to number and standard of drivers
